Every song is amazing. So many different styles on one album.

All the songs on this album should be a single. Enough said. Almost every single makes me want to dance. They are so catchy. Some people have a problem with Mariah going more mainstream. I don’t. She needs to compete but no, she doesn’t need to lessen herself (which I don’t think she is). I think she’s still great. And even some of the “Old Mariah” shows through in here. Every single thing she has done is a part of her evolving and it all makes sense. I think anyone who wants to review a Mariah Carey album should try to listen to all of the albums in order, but first of all, it is definitely worth it, and second of all, it tells a story that some wouldn’t understand if they had listened to, say, one album instead. I’ve listened to every single one of her albums since her debut, Mariah Carey and I’ve loved every single one, except two or three. I promise you I am not bragging. One problem I had with this album was that the endings of some of the songs, specifically Heavenly (No Ways Tired), just sounded rushed, like she was under a time limit and had to end it. Of course, this kind of bothers me, but it doesn’t ruin my experience of the record because I think it’s awesome and absolutely amazing and mind blowing. The entirety gives me goosebumps. The production of the album has come far from her Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel album, but sometimes I still have a hard time hearing what she says. Sometimes her words blur together when she uses more whispery notes and talks a little bit quicker. Maybe she just needs to speak more clearly into the microphone? I don’t know? But all I know is that I will be having this record on repeat for ages. Seriously, Go Mariah! Don’t listen to the haters! They can’t take it away from you! One of my favorite songs on the entire record is Camouflage. I love her voice more towards the end, it was soooo beautiful and unlike anything she’s done before. Highly recommended!
