Everytime I listen to these songs, I feel closer to God in spirit. The Elysium was the Roman pagan heaven but God had a plan for Emperor Constantine “with this sign conquer “ which was not only seen by him but by his troops and the rest is history.

The whole album, pretty much, is like a long, painful, but strong walk to light, sunrise, elysium, or, freedom. It starts with struggle, goes in fight, killing, but finally, ends in amazing peace. The last hit, Now we are free, is like from which I picture myself walking out of the deep valleys of darkness, and seeing the sun dawning on me. Always listen to this album whenever I feel down, upset or strained, it was like a ablution every time, all through my life. Thanks Hans Zimmer! Thanks Gladiator!

This was my grandfathers favorite movie. He would always ask to watch it when he came over. As I learn today that his time left here on this physical realm is limited, I have listened the song ~now we are free~ on repeat, while the streams of tears haven't stopped, it brings solace to know that his pain finally will. No more pain. You are free. <3

This album is probably the best soundtrack I've ever heard, and I'm a sucker for soundtracks. I can (and do) listen to this album all day long and never get sick of it.
  • A soundtrack even greater than the movie

Usually you have to settle for a great movie and lack luster soundtrack or vise versa. NOT THE CASE HERE! Every single track transports you into the film. Moving, powerful, subtle, and hauntingly beautiful. A must own.

Without much doubt, one of the greatest soundtracks of all time.

This is a great album and great composing. This is great to listen to while studying or doing work because it has no distracting lyrics and it has a feel to motivate as well. I love it!
