Signs of Light was an album that felt to be straying from what they did best at first, but really grew on me over time and I look back on it now as one of my favorite albums. The first single is usually the most radio-feeling one and it’s still pretty good, so I’m still hopeful that Living Mirage will be another great set of songs from THATH!

This sounds like a record company makeover to try to catch an image or a vibe, simply put, the voice + a computer program now = THATH.

I’ve known these guys since 2010. The irony is they are becoming what they rebelled against. I hope they don’t get too lost in the success. Though this track sounds good it’s Jons voice that makes it. Sadly if it weren’t for that then yes its not nearly as unique. Might I recommend a trip back to Conor Byrne? Oh and let’s pray for Jo. Gone but not forgotten. Been praying for you since 2012.

Bands are supposed to evolve, but what H&TH have turned into is something unrecognizable. I went to see them in Dec and Mt. Joy opened and put on 2x as good of a performance in half the time compared to the headliners. Mt. Joy reminded me of what H&TH USED to sound like. Wish they’d return to their roots
  • Back with another hit!

I know there production has evolved away from their classic rustic sound. But I do not think it’s from the worst, they still sound like the Head and the Heart and just need to continue to balance out the right sound. Last album was a bit too smooth and poppy, still great, this sounds even more like I know they could be.

Harmonies. Purity. Terrific songwriting. That’s what drew me to these guys, and they seem to have abandoned those things for trite lyrics, drum machines, and a more techno sound. Reminds me of how Coldplay devolved. What a shame.

Missed Connection is terrific! I am elated to hear the rest and to see THaTH in Red Rocks in July! Love you all! Thanks for the great tunes!
