The band delivers... AGAIN
44 / 5
I've been really pumped for this album ever since the release of Cyboogie as a single, and I really can't say I'm disappointed with it. Although not the band's most lyrical project, all 9 tracks here feel like they serve a purpose. Each of them being good standalone songs, while still contributing well to the album as a whole, flowing nicely from track to track. I've seen many complaints about how the album can come off as "boring" or "uninspired," but in my opinion the album is really fun all the way through, and after a few listens I can't help but sing along. Even the opening title track which I originally found a bit too corny, has grown on me and I now enjoy it quite a bit. The lyrics, while not being all that omniscient, are thought provoking while still being as fun and catchy as possible. I think it's great that the band went with the topic of environmental protection, as I don't think many people think about these things as much as they should. If you're going into this album for the first time, just have fun with it. Fun is really the one word I can use to describe this album.
