I heard This Land for the frist time live and was instantly shook. The lyrics combined with the guitar play created a song that was hardcore and filled with emotion. The rest of the songs were classic Gary. I can't wait to hear the rest of the album.

Pearl Cadillac is one of the best songs I have heard in a while. I instantly liked it and listened to it over and over. Gary has a great style, somewhat reminiscent of Prince, but more raw. Gary’s guitar solos are full of tone and power, somewhat reminiscent of Hendrix, but more refined.

Gary Clark Junior is possibly one of the best live guitar players I've ever had the pleasure of seeing, his style, his voice and dirty delivery always creates a musical experience .Looking forward to the entire album release.PEACE

Brilliant. Brave. Terrifying. Celebratory. Saddening. Heartbreaking. Cathartic. Gary Clark, Jr. has succeeded in painting a resolute and masterful portrait of America circa 2019. His songwriting is honest, nuanced, and textually diverse here: Clark, Jr. effortlessly blends and jumps genres like it's second nature, fusing the worlds of blues, rock, country, soul, and hip hop with supreme dexterity and musical literacy. Superb and chaotic guitar. This is the future of the blues, folks. And it's incredible, indeed. If I base the merit of this album upon the five songs I've heard thus far, I'm confident proclaiming this his first absolute masterstroke.

Racism needs to leave. It’s not wanted and should not be tolerated. Those who don’t like it should leave.

As a non racist white guy, this land is hard to listen to. It’s a turn off for me. I just want to hear great guitar driven blues rock. I’ll keep my money this time around. I’m out.

His albums usually consist everything from R&B to Indie Rock. I’m not a complete fan of the first single, but enjoying the second and third songs!!

Sounds "new" - I like what I hear a lot so far. Have bought 3 tracks and there's something special about this work. I also like the production. Has captured the energy of GCJ and sounds "live" in a way. I have a feeling this may be considered a masterpiece in years to come. I don't understand the detractors of this album. In this world, it'll be a lot better if the postive speak up, and those that only seem to be able to spread negativity rein it in.

People just mad because it’s not what they want to hear. Talking about stop with the rap aspects. Rap was a huge influence in his life. People label him a certain genre when he’s trying his own sound
