Her voice is incredible. She approached every song with such deep thought, passion and technical expertise. She was never satisfied with her performances, always thinking she could do it better. This devotion to the technical aspect of singing made her one of the best of all time.
She’s one of the best if not the best female singer ever

I just love her. She is music. I love the texture of her voice, how she can hit high notes without sounding shrill and how she understands dynamics. She can sooth you or rock you.
The way she puts her heart into her songs is so genuine, you can feel it’s coming from a real place. I can’t say enough about her. She’s amazing.

I saw this show at the Warfield in Sf, this tour I mean. The hbo concert audio was aired on radio at the time and I have that, and I wish the whole show was on this cd. But even so. This is a fantastic album I had to buy.
An angelic voice...

I was lucky enough to see Linda Ronstadt in concert on three or four occasions in the 70s and 80s. These selections that you chose to add to this remastered album from a live concert at Television City in Hollywood gave me the chills. Thank you Linda for all the fond memories that you have brought to all of us throughout the world. 😘 🎤 🎶

One of the BEST LIVE ALBUMS EVER

What can you say about Linda Ronstadt except absolute perfection. When you hear this cd you feel like you are right there. Her voice is angelic, forceful and in total control. The rawness of hearing her without the studio perfections makes you realize how she has this incredible gift and how she knew how to use every note to make you feel every song.
So many highlights on this cd...the long version of YOUR NO GOOD is jaw dropping. BLUE BAYOU and DESPERADO are beautifully sung but WILLIN’ and FAITHLESS LOVE will blow you away. I have been a fan since the 60’s and never got to see her in concert...to me this is such a gift to be able to hear what it would have been like to hear the most beautiful voice of the century live. Thank you Linda, you are forever loved.

I saw Ronstadt on this tour, when she played Radio City in New York. She was amazing. Her band was hot and rocking.
These renditions are very representative of what she was doing on stage at that time. I just downloaded the entire album here, after sampling a few of the tunes.
She soon went into a different musical direction...the Nelson Riddle albums...the delving into her own roots. So, this album is kind of like a last gasp document of Linda Ronstadt, the rocker.
no cracks in her seams...

Techincally such a perfect singer, great material, musicans, some of the top shelp players in the LA scene, I guess the time and place back in the late 60's through the 80's into the 90's.. she was outstanding, no one could really touch her for pure perfection, she could belt out or croon a tune like the best of them, she won grammy's for so many difference genre's as she developed her chops to suit the style, just flawless what ever she did. During the 70's and 80's it was great to also appreciate the understudies of much of the styles she shared with other singers and writers who could equally take a song it make it their own. Singers like Phoebe Snow, Bonnie Raitt, Nicholette Larson, Karla Bonoff, Emmylou Harris during the 70's were also oustanding singers that shaded the perfection of Ronstadt and gave performances with so much melancholy and heartache and full of regrets and loss, gave Ronstadt a run to keep it real..but its nice to hear some of this new live material, miss her voice, some of these tunes were in keeping step with a new wave pop stylings in the early 80's but that voice could still run with it, a missed artist who had quite run with all her styles, she perfected.....

Ronstadt's legacy is as an artist that fought tooth and nail for other artists, including the Eagles and Warren Zevon. And she had a boatload of hits. But looking back over all these years, it's hard to understand what the big deal was about her own records. I mean -- an album of mismatched covers? One or two are better than the originals, most are nothing worth remembering.
What a voice and what a band

One of the most iconic voices in pop/rock. Teamed with an all star cast of musicians. I have all of this in earlier versions but the energy of these live perfomances is fantastic.
