  • Wow!

I originally bought it for the band introductions (track 13), but little did I know, the rest of the album has some good stuff! If you are here just for the band introduction track, like I was, take a chance and buy the whole album!

Always loved Linda since I was teenager. (Mid 1970’s) have and always had a crush on her.incredible singer and not hard to look at. Can get both cd/ dvd of the concert on eBay. That’s where I got mine.
  • Finally...

From the 'Mad Love' Tour, originally for HBO. I taped this directly onto a cassette and carried it in my 'essentials' case for years. As the tape deteriorated, I converted to basic digital. Those original conversions have followed me through every iPod/iPhone upgrade. About 10 years ago, I found a European version of the video; sound and video quality wasn't great. I, too, wished it was in it's entirety; the original band intro led into "Poor, Poor Pitiful Me" (I also miss Warren). I saw her several times prior to this tour; she was so incredible and absolutely one of the top 5 female singers of all time, in all genres. This is way beyond 5 stars to me; I will love and respect her forever.
  • Perfection!

Her voice is incredible. She approached every song with such deep thought, passion and technical expertise. She was never satisfied with her performances, always thinking she could do it better. This devotion to the technical aspect of singing made her one of the best of all time.
  • She’s one of the best if not the best female singer ever

I just love her. She is music. I love the texture of her voice, how she can hit high notes without sounding shrill and how she understands dynamics. She can sooth you or rock you. The way she puts her heart into her songs is so genuine, you can feel it’s coming from a real place. I can’t say enough about her. She’s amazing.
  • Linda's the best

I saw this show at the Warfield in Sf, this tour I mean. The hbo concert audio was aired on radio at the time and I have that, and I wish the whole show was on this cd. But even so. This is a fantastic album I had to buy.
  • An angelic voice...

I was lucky enough to see Linda Ronstadt in concert on three or four occasions in the 70s and 80s. These selections that you chose to add to this remastered album from a live concert at Television City in Hollywood gave me the chills. Thank you Linda for all the fond memories that you have brought to all of us throughout the world. 😘 🎤 🎶

My Heart still skips a beat hearing Linda perform live. With her range and depth and emotion I just go to my happy place. Thanks

What can you say about Linda Ronstadt except absolute perfection. When you hear this cd you feel like you are right there. Her voice is angelic, forceful and in total control. The rawness of hearing her without the studio perfections makes you realize how she has this incredible gift and how she knew how to use every note to make you feel every song. So many highlights on this cd...the long version of YOUR NO GOOD is jaw dropping. BLUE BAYOU and DESPERADO are beautifully sung but WILLIN’ and FAITHLESS LOVE will blow you away. I have been a fan since the 60’s and never got to see her in me this is such a gift to be able to hear what it would have been like to hear the most beautiful voice of the century live. Thank you Linda, you are forever loved.
  • Great Stuff

I saw Ronstadt on this tour, when she played Radio City in New York. She was amazing. Her band was hot and rocking. These renditions are very representative of what she was doing on stage at that time. I just downloaded the entire album here, after sampling a few of the tunes. She soon went into a different musical direction...the Nelson Riddle albums...the delving into her own roots. So, this album is kind of like a last gasp document of Linda Ronstadt, the rocker.
