I've listened to the entire album 3 or 4 times and can't wait to hear it again. Paul's voice is better than ever. A classic.

“Confidante” seems to borrow from “Both Sides Now”.

Its been such a long time since I've gotten excited over a new release from sir paul. Last time was when "Hope and Deliverance" was released back in the early to mid 90's. That was his last good album to date. This album does have a good feel to it, but you all know how this world is. Nothing on this album will become a true hit basically because people don't normally make old timer's music into hits these days. If the song is not filled with voice enhancements, sexy images within the videos and not a young "diva or idol", then the songs just barely get recognized any more, regardless of how good the music is. I will end up getting 2 or 3 tracks from this release for my own personal listening pleasure, but willing to bet big, that you will not here any of these tracks on the radio.

Almost no other living artist has had as many hit after hit records as Sir Paul McCartney. This is a great record and it will be one that I will continue to enjoy and revisit for years to come.

I bought this album with much anticipation. After listening, I found that the music sounds as old as McCartney is

I have never rated a Paul McCartney album publicly before. I had the privilege to take my son to the Flowers in the Dirt tour. I’ve always loved Paul’s music. The very first album I bought was the European version of Help while living in Germany. I have always been amazed by his voice, musical talent in general, songwriting ability and keeping up with the times. The concert I went to was at Carter/Finley Stadium, where I saw a beautiful group of all ages, skin colors and from all walks of life. That is the man that he is! Yes his 76 beautiful voice is 76 years old, music tastes have changed etc. Paul at his worst is better than many. However, I have most of the material he has played on or written for others. Yes I like some much more than others. I must say after sampling his new music on this album and now that I now must watch every penny...I must pass this one up. Not one song caught my ear. I must say, I am happy to hear some of his new music. It’s like hearing once again from an old friend that I met on the Ed Sullivan Show in 1964. He is older and so am I!!! My biggest hope is...reportedly through the years he has written 300-500 songs on tapes that have yet to be published....when, when, when! Chow!

Very boring record. Particularly "Despite Repeated Warnings" is a blemish on the record. The name "Paul McCartney" will get attention for this record, but there is not one single song anyone will be listening to a year from now. It's not a memorable album.
