Love it 😊
I’ve always loved your music 💛don’t listen to haters they lame !
Y’all are crazy if you can’t accept the artistic progression of Leon. Fire album.
He doesn’t even sound the same on this one. It is cookie cutter R&B. His previous work was unique yet with a flair of retro. This new effort sounds like the same as a dozen other modern R&B singers. Please return to your smooth delivery as demonstrated in your first album. You filled a unique niche that is still needed. Now that being said, two tracks on this album are absolutely incredible. Bad, Bad News and Beyond.
I'm confused how this isn't 5 stars. SUCH a strong album.
I absolutely love every song! You don’t know has a Prince vibe too it; but this man is gonna be around a long time!

To grow is to leave some things behind. Leon bridges somehow manages to try something new while still being very unique. Love the new sound
One of my fav albums of 18
Honestly, I don't understand the negative reviews. This album made Leon one of my fav artists this year and I absolutely loved every song on this album--which does not happen very often.
Enjoy the evolution of Leon!

Way too many reviews with "I didn't like [..]" or "I didn't enjoy [..]". Enjoy the direction this brilliant artist is going! Leon is clearly incredibly talented, and he continues to surround himself with the right musicians. Yes, this album has a bit more of a jazzy / modern R&B sound to it, but that doesn't make it a bad album. Tracks like "Bad Bad News", "Beyond", and "Georgia to Texas" showcase his songwriting and vocals. Leon is showing he will continue to make his mark in the industry.
I have been listening to Leon Bridges for a hot minute and I absolutely love this album. Shy and If It Feels Goods are my absolute favorites. It’s such a good album to drive to
Bridge's 'Good Thing' Takes Us Down New Roads
I expect this to be the journey we get to take with every new album - How fortunate we are - Leon Bridges is one of the best artists to come along in years.
This album is a collection of a diverse styles...I am not going to make comparison to some of the greats which is easy to do, because Leon's clearly on a creative path that has potential to produce a body of work others will compare to in future generations.
If one were to hear the album's songs randomly played within a mix of other artists, one might not recognize that they were from the same artist.
Clearly, there is a serious level of genius brewing here and the need for pushing creativity is one of the traits inherent in musical genius, so those reviews criticizing his move to new styles, I will just say, that is what is going to keep Leon Bridges fresh, and it will be fascinating to see where he takes us next.
Bad Bad News and Beyond have chart potential, Shy will become a go-to cover song for other artists (one already recorded and just out of production), If It Feels Good and You Don't Know both a throw back to 70s and early 80's, which Leon does better than anyone and in his own unique style. Georgia to Texas is a poetic snapshot of his childhood, and Bet Ain't Worth The Hand is simply beautiful.
Each track is unique, subtly complex, contagious, and creates its own individual mood and tone. The sound and song composition is totally different than anything else out there, yet has a sometimes haunting familiarity to it.
This is one very cool cat and we have a lot of great music coming our way.
How about a new album every year?!?
