This band always puts out great music and this album is no exception. So much talent in every member and the vocals are spot on. Support these guys they definitely deserve it

Musically, the band displays a fantastic range of dynamics and impressive technical prowess, with some great melodies, but the is one aspect of Erra's Drift that makes it difficult for me to fully enjoy: the clean singer keeps wanting to hit this note... and man, he really shouldn't. But he does it nearly every song, and after a while it gets really old. If he sounds this strained trying to sing this stuff now, in a few years he won't be able to perform his own songs. Which is a shame, because when he stays in his range, he sounds great. Otherwise, a fantastic collection of songs.

If you're into: Complex riffs and rhythms Insanely deep, thematic lyrics Heavy guitar grooves, with iridescent tonal contrast Songs that invoke intense, multilayered emotional response Then this album is absolutely for you. This is Erra's heaviest album yet, (in my opinion), but not in the way you'd expect - It's a matured heaviness, with a genius integration of djenty rhythms, and crisp iridescent contrast. This combination, along with its rich lyrical dimensions, creates a sound that's as equally tumultuous as it is gorgeous. I've never felt this inclined to write an album review before. It hasn't left my car's CD player since I purchased it - four months ago - and I'm always finding new ways to appreciate it.

I miss the old screamer but he's not much different from the new one. It took a couples of listens to catch on but I really realize now this album is amazing.

At first listen a couple tracks stood out. Then it became evident how great this album is from top to bottom. Power, grace, musicianship, flow, feel...it's great when an album is so easy to listen to from start to finish that is seems like all 12 tracks are one song. Favorites include: Irreversible,Skyline, hourglass, The Hypnotist. Enjoy!

Idk I can't seem to fall in love with this one. There are some really awesome parts in here that sound really cool but overall it's not my favorite. But then again we all have different tastes. I think they did an awesome job with it though!
